Grateful for the chance to step away from our busy project schedules and gather together in Cleveland and Dayton to celebrate the end of another great year.

Sometimes leadership looks like running a meeting or orchestrating a multi-million dollar project… And sometimes it looks like rolling up your sleeves to replace the office toilet handle minutes before guests arrive.

Huge shoutout to our President, Eric, for jumping in without hesitation — no task too big, too small, or too unexpected. This quick “field repair” sparked plenty of laughs, team camaraderie, and yes… even an official mini-HASP. Safety first, even in the restroom. 😄🚽👨‍🔧

In true holiday spirit, we’ll just say we’re grateful things never reached Cousin Eddie levels. 😉🎄

Pinnacle recently completed Phase 1 of the High Voltage Cable Replacement project at NASA Glenn Research Center and is proud to continue that progress with Phase 2! This next phase involves removing original 34.5kV high-voltage cables—installed in the 1940s—and installing new 34.5kV EPR-insulated copper conductors connecting substations on campus. The upgrades strengthen the reliability and safety of NASA’s power infrastructure, ensuring consistent energy distribution to critical research facilities for decades to come.

🚧 Project Update – WPAFB BREWS-C Lab Renovation 🚧
This summer, our team kicked off a full lab renovation at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The scope includes upgrades to mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) systems, concrete coring, CMU work, HAZMAT abatement, interior upgrades, and more.

Completed so far:
✅ Demolition of MEP systems
✅ Concrete coring
✅ Mercury & asbestos abatement

On the horizon:
🔨 Installing new MEP connections, including electrical panels
🔨 Painting and flooring
🔨 Casework installation

We’re proud to be moving this mission-critical project forward and look forward to sharing more progress updates along the way!

🚧 WPAFB Steam Tunnel Repairs Underway!

Pinnacle recently kicked off our work on the Repair Steam Tunnel project at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton! We began by removing insulation and demo’ing existing steam piping to make way for new systems. Our team is tackling hot work operations and pipe removal safely in tight underground conditions—making progress one weld at a time.

These efforts are the first step toward restoring and replacing the aging infrastructure with new piping systems that will enhance long-term efficiency and reliability for the base.
