In solar, the parts are greater than the whole.

Cut a solar cell in half and the result is less electrical resistance & more output. The cells are more durable and produce more wattage. Bottom line: More electricity.

News from northern Norway: The grid operator Statnett has assigned 50MW to our legacy 926,000-square-foot industrial facility (with up to 396MW still pending in the queue.)

Building a solar supply chain to deliver scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy in the United States is our core mission. This decision out of Norway enables our assets in the Nordics to be developed as world-class data centers utilizing the region’s abundant low-cost power.

“Global AI compute demand is expanding faster than new grid capacity. Strategic locations, such as Mo i Rana, where abundant electricity and industrial infrastructure intersect, are in high demand,” says Andreas Bentzen, T1 Energy’s Chief Technology Officer.
