On November 26, 2019, the United Nations (UN) declared September 7 as the "International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies."
Some air pollutants, such as black carbon, methane, and ground-level ozone, are also short-lived climatic pollutants (SLCPs) and cause a major share of air pollution-related illnesses and deaths. Climate change and air pollution are closely intertwined, and while one cannot be addressed without tackling the other.
AIR-INK, which captures carbon emissions and converts them into ink, is a solution to air pollution and its harmful consequences on human life. As it is the first ink generated from upcycling air pollution.

We are incredibly excited to announce our collaboration with Diageo’s Johnnie Walker! Diageo will launch six limited-edition Johnnie Walker bottles in the next few months, all created with AIR-INK. The individual bottles will represent six cities and only 2500 bottles per city will be available. The cities represented are Mexico City, New Delhi, Warsaw, Bangkok, Istanbul and Madrid.
