April is national welding month, did you know that in a civilized society you are rarely more than 6 feet from something that has been welded! I'm very grateful for the people I've met along my welding journey and for all the cool things I've been able to build and work on. Things I have welded on and industries I've served incude: (but are not limited too)
Agricultural: tractors, combines, plows, planters, fertilizer and manure spreaders, grain bins, and various implements.
Structural and miscellaneous steel: structures, handrail, gaurd railing, door lintles and headers, staircases, ladders, catwalk.
Industrial factories: machine frame repair, machine guarding, transport carts, raw material hoppers, conveyor repair and install.
Recycling and waste: roll off container manufacturing and repair, garbage truck repairs, Recycling hopper manufacturing, roll off truck repairs, compaction equipment repairs, hardface build up.
Trucking industry: fuel and hydraulic tank repairs, frame repairs and stretches, dump bed repairs and lining. King pin plate replacement, hopper door fabrication and repairs.
Sewer and wastewater: cracked pump housing repairs, broken valve repairs, pipe fitting welding. Water key manufacturing, manhole lid modifications.
Aviation: airplane wheel shipping crates, airplane refueling pipe repairs, parts storage cabinet modifications.
Emergency service: repairs on fire trucks and ambulances, props for firefighter training.
