Magnum-XD vs. Rack & Pinion: Why Magnum Sets the Standard

Hydraulic simplicity means fewer failure points.

Magnum-XD uses matched displacement lift cylinders to keep both arms moving together—eliminating the need for divider and combiner valves.

Fewer components and no valve imbalance mean synchronized arm movement, reliable operation, and longer tarp life.

When your equipment works every day, simpler hydraulics can mean less downtime and more dependable performance.

💪 Magnum-XD vs. Rack & Pinion: The Difference Is Uptime

When a tarping system fails, productivity stops—and costs add up fast.

With the Magnum-XD Tarping System:
✅ Arms continue to operate even if damaged
✅ Drivers stay on their routes
✅ No hand tarping while waiting on replacement parts

With a traditional Rack & Pinion system:
❌ Damaged telescoping arms stop operating
❌ Drivers are forced to hand tarp loads until repairs are made

Less downtime. Less labor. Safer operations.

Choose the tarping system engineered to keep your fleet moving.

Magnum-XD vs. Rack & Pinion: Why the Magnum Tarping System Sets the Standard

Arm Design That Keeps You Working

A tarping system shouldn't stop working because an arm gets bent.

The Magnum-XD features a true elbow arm design engineered to keep operating even when arms become dented or damaged. Unlike telescoping arm systems that can bind, jam, or fail when impacted, the Magnum-XD is built for real-world refuse and waste hauling environments.

The result? Less downtime, fewer service interruptions, and more loads covered when it matters most.

When reliability is critical, the Magnum-XD delivers the durability and performance fleets depend on every day.
