Una semana increíble en el centro de entrenamiento de Bona training in North Carolina

Clase completamente en español con estudiantes de Miami, Georgia, Maryland y North Carolina, todos unidos por las ganas de aprender y crecer en la industria de los pisos de madera.

Y algo que me dio mucho orgullo: ver también mujeres aprendiendo el oficio y formando parte del futuro de esta industria. 👷🏻‍♀️

Gracias al equipo de Bona por hacer esto posible: Luis, Mark y Larry. 🙌🏼

Three days.
Over 70 years of combined experience in one room.
That’s what makes these classes different.
This wasn’t just about installing wood floors.
It was about learning why things work, sharing techniques, solving problems, and pushing each other to get better every day.

From layout and starting lines…
to moisture protection, full-spread glue assist, custom borders, and the little details that separate a mechanic from a craftsman — every conversation mattered.
One of my favorite parts was at the end of the class:
everyone signing the custom border corner we built together on a piece of plywood.
Different backgrounds. Different experiences.
Same passion for the trade.
That’s the power of continuing education and being around people who actually want to grow.
A lot of contractors think classes are only for beginners.
They’re not.
The best mechanics I know are still learning.
Big respect to everyone who showed up ready to share knowledge and improve together. And thank you to the Bona for continuing to create spaces where our industry can grow.

We showed up as a family and left with a win we’ll never forget. 🏆

It was the people. The connections. The energy.

Thank you to everyone who made it what it is.

And a special thank you to the NWFA staff for putting together such an amazing Expo.
This industry feels like home.
