Ironically, these beams are headed to another data center that will store information in the “cloud,” and there happened to be plenty of clouds overhead.

Our Sterling Shop Team spliced these pieces together ahead of our Er****on Team to give them an advantage onsite. At more than 75 feet long and weighing over 10,000 pounds each, they may not be the heaviest pieces we’ve fabricated, but they’re certainly not light.

These two are just a small portion of the project, but they’ll serve a big purpose once they’re in place.

One of our Wi******er shops recently added a new automated bandsaw, bringing enhanced capabilities, greater efficiency and increased precision to our production process.

The new saw features auto-indexing feed to help improve operator safety, along with advanced capabilities designed to deliver consistent accuracy, streamline production and support long-term equipment performance. It’s another investment in the technology and people that keep Extreme Steel moving forward.

When our gates aren't wide enough, we go over them. This is one of the many Skids we're producing for a Data Center project in Virginia. On that same job, our team is also fabricating and erecting the Structural Steel roof system that will support the HVAC units.

These Skids weigh over 19,000 lbs. when they leave our Shop, headed off to be outfitted with electrical components by others before making their way to the Data Center site.

Our team is diligently working on a special project underground in a train tunnel. This project includes numerous CJP welds, each requiring UT testing by a third party. The hard work happening in our shops is helping our field crews get the project erected without issues. They're on site 24 hours a day, seven days a week for 18 straight days during this rail line shutdown.
