You have about six weeks. Then the ground freezes.

In Maine and New Hampshire, the working window doesn't stay open long โ€” inland, frost can arrive by late September. And reconstruction isn't a same-week job. The damage has to be assessed, the scope confirmed, insurance aligned, and the work scheduled. All of that takes time.

Every week it waits, the calendar tightens.

If something in your home has needed rebuilding since winter, August is the month to get it reviewed, scoped, and on the schedule โ€” before colder weather narrows the window.

Have you been putting off a repair since last winter? Now's the time to get it moving.

Nobody hears it happen.

A water heater gave out overnight, and the finished basement below paid for it. Water soaked the carpet, spread behind the drywall, saturated the insulation.

Has your home been through a water loss this winter? Tell us what you found.

After mitigation cleared the space, we rebuilt it โ€” drywall, paint, trim, and hardwood flooring throughout. Insurance involved start to finish.

Licensed and insured. Over 20 years of leadership experience.

Waterโ€™s gone. So why doesnโ€™t your home feel the same?

Because water damage doesnโ€™t end when the visible water disappears. Even after the surface dries, moisture can remain trapped inside subfloors, drywall, and insulation. It spreads behind the scenes, and when the signs return, the damage has often gotten worse.

A spongy floor. A stain that keeps coming back. A lingering musty odor. These arenโ€™t cosmetic issuesโ€”theyโ€™re indicators of hidden moisture and structural damage.

We donโ€™t just repair whatโ€™s visibleโ€”we restore whatโ€™s underneath, the right way, so the problem doesnโ€™t return. Licensed, insured, and here to help with the insurance process from beginning to end.

You cleaned up the water. So why does it still feel wrong?

Because water damage doesn't stop at the surface. The floor dried โ€” but the subfloor, the drywall, and the insulation often don't. Water spreads where you can't see it, and by the time it shows again, it's already moved deeper into the structure.

A soft floor. A returning stain. A musty smell. These aren't surface problems โ€” they're signs the damage is still there.

We rebuild what was lost โ€” properly, so it doesn't come back. Licensed and insured, with insurance coordination from start to finish.

A repair covers it up. Reconstruction fixes what's underneath.

Most homeowners can't tell the difference until it's too late โ€” and that's exactly the problem.

A soft spot on the floor. A ceiling stain that came back. Paint peeling near the baseboard. None of these are surface issues. By the time they show, the damage is already inside the structure โ€” the subfloor, the framing, behind the drywall.

Here's how you actually tell: if it keeps coming back, or it feels worse than it looks, it's no longer a repair job.
We come in after mitigation is complete, assess what's really there, build a clear scope, and rebuild it properly โ€” coordinating directly with your insurance.

If any of this sounds familiar, it's worth having it looked at before summer makes it worse.

We were proud to donate to the Portland Firefighter Children's Burn Foundation this week.

The work they do for children and families recovering from burn injuries is close to home for us โ€” protecting and rebuilding what matters most is at the heart of what we do every day.

Grateful to support an organization making a real difference in our community. ๐Ÿ’š

Water damage doesn't stop at the surface.

By the time you see the floor lift, buckle, or feel soft underfoot โ€” it's already reached the subfloor. That's the part most homeowners don't realize until the repair scope grows.

This is a real Octagon project. Subfloor removed, rebuilt from the ground up, and finished properly.

If your floors have felt soft, uneven, or just different since winter โ€” it's worth having it looked at before summer makes it worse.

Water damage doesn't announce itself.

In Maine and New Hampshire, winter leaves more behind than most people realize. Freeze-thaw cycles, burst pipes, snowmelt pushing through walls and subfloors โ€” by spring, the damage is already inside the structure. Most homeowners don't see it until it's a much bigger problem.

If your home went through this winter, it's worth having it properly assessed before summer makes it worse.
We come in after mitigation is complete โ€” assess the structure, build a clear scope, coordinate with your insurance, and rebuild it right.
