I wanted to take a moment today to make it official that Hinman Builders LLC is now officially closed and will no loger be conducting business in NYS. After much consideration we have decided to relocate our family to middle Tennessee to pursue a long time goal of moving south. We will be focusing these next few years on spending as much time as we can enjoying our children, traveling chasing their activities and living a simpler life as the years truly fly by. We want our employees, clients, friends and family to know how much we have appreciated their support, business and the many friendships we have created along the way. Another recent project complete! Had to support, raise 4inches and rebuild this structure for a great customer of ours. Unfortunately whoever built this originally used kiln dried materials as structural support bases for these columns that held up the upper structure of this home. As you can see in the photos the weather had gotten the best of them and things deteriorated quickly! We were able to save/rebuild the round columns to keep the original look for the homeowners. Also designed and created a new look for the interior wall panels with the homeowner using PVC wainscoting with misc trims. We used all new pressure treated materials for framing and also used 6x6 posts up through the center of the round columns to properly support the structure above and finished things off with new stone veneer on the exterior. Well all it’s been far too long since we have posted. We have stayed busy thanks to you all and we will get you caught up on things we have done as the weeks go on. I wanted to post my favorite and most important project to date. My kids have been asking me for some time to put together a tree house and I always seem to have the same answer week after week and then year after year. I’m busy but I’ll get to it when I can. Well it took me some time to realize that busy seems to not stop and time seems to not slow. With the help of our guys and some friends we made time to get this put together for Kendall and cole. Here is another Hinman Builders LLC project that was completed earlier this spring. We worked with this homeowner to convert there old basement utility and furnace room into a full bathroom. We were able to create a layout around all the existing utility’s and still fit in a nice closet area and some custom built-in shelving. And that scary reflection in the mirror…that’s none other than my right hand man Lucas Alapeck. We truly want to thank these homeowners for allowing us to be their trusted contractor.

Wow what a busy spring and summer it’s been for us here at Hinman Builders LLC!! We want to first thank all of our customers for trusting in us for your project needs. As we attempt to catch up on posting some of the projects we’ve been doing these past 4-5 months I would like to start with this one that was completed for a truly great family. We worked with these folks to add a new office area, a new laundry room, and some additional curb appeal by adding stone veneer to the exterior of their existing garage. We also created a new walk in pantry with adjustable shelving.

Happy Easter to all! Here is another Hinman Builders LLC project delivered just in time for Easter. This family was displaced from there home due to a water line that broke while they were away. The damage required a complete demo of the kitchen and bathroom down to bare framing. The homeowner chose to go with lighter cabinets and new laminate flooring in both the kitchen and bathroom which really changed the feel of this home.

Another Hinman Builders LLC project complete! This was a 20x40 trex deck with another 16x20 upper deck. Custom built cabinets and angled stairs added a nice touch to this deck. We did a picture frame design around the perimeter and down the center of the 40 foot deck. This homeowner spent numerous hours working on the design and we had a lot of fun making this project a reality. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your build!

Another project complete for a wonderful client out in Berkshire, NY. This is a 10ft x 20ft shelter with all pressure treated lumber and built on 4x6 skids so it can be moved if needed. We also renovated the existing barn which consisted of new structural 6x6 posts and headers along with concrete underpinning along the back side of the 75ft long barn. All new electrical wire, lights, outlets and switches were installed as well as adding some windows and rebuilding stall doors.
