Meet the Team Monday 🔧

Meet Anna-Lea Monroe, our talented Engineering Intern!

Anna-Lea joined us in August and is getting hands-on experience learning CATIA software and becoming familiar with the engineering workplace.

One of her favorite parts of working at Galaxy is working through challenges in CATIA and learning from our fellow engineers. She enjoys the opportunity to ask questions, learn new things, and build her skills alongside the team.

Outside of work, Anna-Lea enjoys drawing and watching movies!

Her advice for anyone considering a career in manufacturing is:
"Put a lot of thought into which department you want to join, and don't be scared of your coworkers. Everybody's friends here!"

Meet the Team Monday 🔧

Meet James Walker, our talented Quality Engineer and Certified Welding Inspector!

James joined Galaxy Technologies 9½ years ago as a Welder. Since then, he has continued to grow his skills and responsibilities, with Galaxy supporting his development by helping him earn his CWI.

Today, James serves as a Quality Engineer and CWI, where his responsibilities include calculating production routers, weld inspection and documentation, and internal auditing.

What James enjoys most about working at Galaxy is the challenging work environment. His role gives him the opportunity to put his skills to work and take on new challenges.

Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, and fishing.

His advice for anyone considering a career in manufacturing is:
"Skilled labor is in high demand. Learn a trade or learn on the job."
