On this day, we remember and honor all the first responders and citizen that were taken from us 24 years ago. It’s important to not only remember today, but everyday.

With that in mind, we proudly introduce our “newest” truck. A rolling, working 9/11 tribute. This truck stands in honor of the fallen firefighters, first responders, their families and all Americans who lost their lives on that tragic day. May it serve as a reminder of their courage, sacrifice, and the enduring spirit of unity that continues to guide us. Today and always.

I’d like to introduce you guys to Truck 5!! Our 1993 Mack RD. We love the old Mack’s over here at Firemen’s Fuel, and plan to replace a truck or two of our newer trucks, with older, classier, more reliable trucks. This is step 1!! We picked it up from lettering this afternoon, and will be delivering your oil tomorrow!!!

This meal train has been setup to help the Bascetta family after Phil was involved in a terrible ATV accident. He is in good spirits right now, but is going to have a long road to recovery.

As some of you may have noticed, we are back on summer time hours. As a reminder our hours are below!!

Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

We won’t be in the office or in the trucks Saturday and Sundays, but we will still be periodically checking the messages on Saturdays. If you call, simply leave a message. We will call you back in the event of an emergency. If not, we will talk to you Monday morning! Hopefully everyone understands the need for a little time off! Thank you for your continued business and support keeping the “little guys” like us in business.

This post, is to address an ongoing issue. Simply for clarification for our amazing loyal customers. As the issue has been brought to attention more frequently recently, than in the past.

When you call to order oil, and want to order from us. Just be sure you call, FIREMENS FUEL at 860-379-1316. And listen carefully, if the phone is answered as anything other than FIRE-MENS FUEL, chances are you called the wrong company. As there is a fuel company with a very similar name to ours. From several concerned customers, we found out that they may or may not correct you if you called them looking for us. They will take your information, and deliver to you, as us. But they are not us. 

In summary, just make sure you call FIRE-MENS Fuel you want to business with us. You can save the phone number, or save the ticket, and call the number on the ticket when you’re ready for oil. This is purely tips, to make sure you’re doing business with who you mean to be. We hate to see, or hear our customers being mislead.

Just a friendly reminder to check your fuel tank level. As fortunate as we have been, it appears we’re going to have some winter like temperatures coming into the area within the next week. The best time to get your tank, topped off, is before the cold weather. That way you don’t find yourself “on E” during the cold!! Don’t get stuck without heat, during the oil rush in cold temperatures!!!
