Out here in Lake County today taking care of another homeowner’s roofing project. 🏠🔨

This homeowner has been absolutely amazing to work with, and for the past few months we’ve worked together through the insurance process to get the repairs approved properly. In the end, we were able to get the insurance company to approve a full re-roof for the homeowner after she called the claim in herself.

As you can see in the video, the previous roofer had replaced sections of the decking using very small patches of OSB instead of properly repairing the roof system. Today, we are removing those improper sections, installing real plywood, and adding new clips to help strengthen and secure the structure the right way.

I’m extremely thankful for the trust this homeowner has placed in me and my company. I treat every single house as if it were my own, making sure everything is done correctly from top to bottom with no shortcuts.

If you’re looking to work with the #1 Roofer, contact us today. Whether you need repairs, maintenance, or a full re-roof, we’re here to help.

Chuck In A Truck #1 Roofer LLC — turning older houses into works of art. 🔥🏠

This project started as an older home with multiple roof repairs, sagging wood, failing overhangs, and an old gravel roof in the back that was holding water and sagging badly.

We completely transformed this property from top to bottom.

Our team repaired and rebuilt damaged overhangs, replaced compromised wood, and took the extra time to relocate accessories so everything lined up properly with the standing seam rib panels. On metal roofing systems, details matter. Instead of using cheap rubberized pipe boots slapped in the middle of rib panels, we upgraded the vent systems and laid everything out properly to create a cleaner look and a longer-lasting roofing system.

On the rear flat roof section, we custom built an ISO board taper system to create positive drainage in two directions toward the eaves. This allowed us to build the perfect transition so water sheds off beautifully and protects the home properly.

Huge shoutout to Integrity Metals for supplying all the metal materials for the main roofing system.

And another huge shoutout to Superb Metals for helping us with all of the custom-cut transition pieces for the rear flat roof sections. These sections did not directly tie into the main roofing system, so every custom detail had to be fabricated perfectly to match the slope and design of the house. We take these extra steps because we refuse to cut corners. Most companies would throw down generic flat metal and move on — we build custom transitions to make sure water can never kick back into the main system.

This homeowner fully understood the importance of replacing additional wood where needed so the finished product would look perfect — and it paid off. The final result came out amazing, and the homeowner was so happy they’ve already referred us to neighbors.

I’m extremely thankful for the network and crews I have around me that help bring these homes back to life every single day.

Another beautiful metal roof completed by Chuck In A Truck #1 Roofer LLC 🔥🏠

This project started months ago after a tree fell onto the homeowner’s house causing major damage to the eaves, wood structure, and roofing system. The homeowner handled the insurance process on his own and even brought in engineers to inspect and verify the structural integrity of the home before moving forward with the rebuild process.

Once everything was cleared and ready, he trusted us to bring this home back to life.

We removed the existing shingle roof and installed a brand new 24 gauge standing seam metal roof using a 1.5” rib system from Integrity Metals. On the rear section of the home, we worked closely with Superb Metals to fabricate all of the custom transition pieces needed for the multiple elevation drops and tie-ins to the lower shed roof sections.

One thing many people don’t realize about metal roofing is this:

Metal roofing is ARTWORK.

If the decking underneath is uneven, mismatched, or out of plane, your finished roof will show every flaw. That’s how you end up with metal roofs that look wavy like a slip-and-slide water park instead of clean, straight, precision lines.

Because this home had older repairs and multiple sections where the wood elevations did not line up properly, we had to remove and replace several decking areas to make sure the final product came out smooth, uniform, and professionally installed.

While we had the roof opened up, we also helped the homeowner upgrade insulation in portions of the rear structure, which made a HUGE difference in the interior temperature of the home. The homeowner immediately noticed the house felt cooler than ever before.

At the end of the day, this roof came out AMAZING. Every panel lined up beautifully, all transitions came together perfectly, and the final product speaks for itself.

I’m extremely thankful for the opportunity and trust this homeowner gave us. Projects like this are why we love what we do.

If you’re thinking about metal roofing, repairs, storm damage, or a full roof replacement anywhere in Florida, contact us today.

Yesterday’s storm on May 12th brought strong winds and heavy weather through Oviedo, Lake Mary, and Osceola County. Today we are out in Oviedo helping homeowners inspect roofs and property for possible storm damage.

If you were affected by the storm, please contact us directly and deal one-on-one with the owner of the company from start to finish. We believe in honest inspections, straightforward answers, and helping homeowners understand whether they truly have damage or not.

We are also partnered with Southern Scopes & Services today to assist homeowners with professional inspections and storm assessments. Our goal is to help educate homeowners on what the storm may have done to their roof, siding, gutters, or other exterior systems.

If you currently have an active leak, we also came prepared with repair materials on hand to help perform emergency temporary repairs and stop further water intrusion as quickly as possible.

Don’t wait for a small issue to become a major problem. Storm damage is not always visible from the ground, and many leaks start days after the storm passes.
