This is an awesome porch project that we just wrapped up. Scope included demolishing the old deck and then building a covered patio with accessory Trex deck, wood burning fireplace with gas starter, and an A/V package. The Eze Breeze panels make it a great 3 season sun room as they are a hybrid screen/window system.

10 Years in Business!

While I do not post as much, I would like to take a moment to thank all of my past and present customers, subcontractors, friends, and family that have made it possible for me to make it to 10 Years in business. It is certainly a milestone for Coastal Construction Company, LLC, and I appreciate all of the support through the years.

It has been a while since any kind of update and I am short on pictures but it has been a great year filled with challenging and rewarding projects that came together with the help of some phenomenal clients and tradesmen. I appreciate the business from each client as well as the relationships and hard work from the men and women who really make each job special. I would like to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Please keep us in mind next year for any construction needs as we look forward to another great year.

Some pictures of a home remodel for some great folks in the New Bern area. The house was already a great home but a little dated since its original build. The owner's design choices really set off a great layout.

We took out a few obtrusive walls to completely open up the living and kitchen areas and instead of a dining area, these owners opted for a large eat at island. The laundry and original mudroom was relocated to make room for a large master bath and walk in closet. The ceilings in the master were raised approximately 12" to get a much larger feel.

The kitchen got all new cabinets, granite, backsplash, fixtures, and farm house sink.

The entire house was done in LVP for years of trouble free service in an environment filled with children, grandchildren, and pets.

The old guest/master bath was turned into a great MIL suite complete with a walk in closet and direct access to the 2nd bath.

I work with some of the best subcontractors around and they are reminded often that this is a team effort. From the demo guys, to the finish work, it all has to come together. The team did a great job.
