The Forest Park Robotics team is a competition-based extracurricular activity. Students will work in small teams to design, build, and program a robot to compete against other teams from around the world in a game-based engineering challenge. Robotics is a sport for the mind; it blends applied physics, mathematics, programming, prototyping and design, integrated problem solving, teamwork and leadership.
Prior robotics experience is not required to join the team, just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Our season runs from September through March with a possible extension to May depending on advancement to the State and World Championships.
4303C was awarded the Think Award for their outstanding and consistent programming at the VEX Robotics World Championships! They finished 3rd in their division out of 97 teams with a record of 10 wins and 1 loss. Incredible performance!
