The Forest Park Robotics team is a competition-based extracurricular activity. Students will work in small teams to design, build, and program a robot to compete against other teams from around the world in a game-based engineering challenge. Robotics is a sport for the mind; it blends applied physics, mathematics, programming, prototyping and design, integrated problem solving, teamwork and leadership.
Prior robotics experience is not required to join the team, just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Our season runs from September through March with a possible extension to May depending on advancement to the State and World Championships.

4303C was awarded the Think Award for their outstanding and consistent programming at the VEX Robotics World Championships! They finished 3rd in their division out of 97 teams with a record of 10 wins and 1 loss. Incredible performance!

Our students are making a difference, using their knowledge to 3D print face shields for local hospitals. So proud of Thomas and Desman for stepping up to help during this time. Please see the article for how you can help their cause.

Forest Park High School students Desmen Boykin and Thomas Byrne have found a worthwhile way to spend their time off school.

Love what our students are doing during this time. Always finding ways to help!
