ππ‘π§ππ₯π‘π¦πππ£ π¦π£π’π§πππππ§/πππ₯ππ‘π ππ‘π‘π’π¨πππ ππ‘π§ π¦ Makanga Iruku, a senior at Etowah High School has interned at Roytec Industries for the past two years as a Manufacturing/Engineering Apprentice.
In addition to benefiting students, the immersive program assists local businesses with special programs and projects while offering insightful perspectives from Cherokeeβs best and brightest students. Roytec Industries Training Manager Tim May said, βOur summer interns were able to learn critical elements of the manufacturing process and get a good idea of how to approach potential jobs like these. Some of them even provided fresh ideas that weβve never thought of.β
