Ester Lopez was a dedicated, loving Roytec employee and dear friend to all for over 20 years. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Ester will be next Saturday 7/16 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Woodstock funeral home. Mass will be held at 1:00pm at St. Michael Catholic Church following the service.

𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗧𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧/𝗛𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 🔦 Makanga Iruku, a senior at Etowah High School has interned at Roytec Industries for the past two years as a Manufacturing/Engineering Apprentice.

In addition to benefiting students, the immersive program assists local businesses with special programs and projects while offering insightful perspectives from Cherokee’s best and brightest students. Roytec Industries Training Manager Tim May said, “Our summer interns were able to learn critical elements of the manufacturing process and get a good idea of how to approach potential jobs like these. Some of them even provided fresh ideas that we’ve never thought of.”
