At Savannah Country Day School, Saunders Field is part of everyday campus life. It is where students practice, compete, take PE, attend camps, and build school pride together. That is why this renovation had to deliver more than a new look. It had to create a dependable, high-quality surface built for daily use.

We appreciate the Savannah Country Day community for sharing what the new field means to their program and for trusting Advanced Sports Group with a project that will serve students for years to come.

Two new fields. One proud softball community.

Here is the finished Dellinger Park Softball Complex in Cartersville, Georgia. Advanced Sports Group completed the synthetic turf construction for both dedicated softball fields, including grading, drainage, base work, laser grading, and custom turf installation.

The Lady Canes now have a home built for game days, practice days, big moments, and everything in between.

The Dellinger Park Softball Complex is officially open, and it was a special day to celebrate with the Lady Canes and the Cartersville community.

Advanced Sports Group completed two new synthetic turf softball fields for Cartersville City Parks at Dellinger Park. The project gave the Cartersville Middle and High School Lady Canes a dedicated home field and created a first-class space for Parks & Recreation programs, athletes, families, and fans.

From the custom purple Lady Canes branding to the green striped outfields and clay-colored infields, every detail was built to make this feel like home. Our work included excavation and grading, drainage and base systems, laser grading, 82,722 square feet of field turf, and 5,800 square feet of landscape turf.

We are proud to be part of a project that will give young athletes a place to compete, grow, and make memories for years to come. Congratulations to the Lady Canes and everyone who helped bring this complex to life.

We love seeing our projects come to life! 🌳🎶

Two years ago, we installed the synthetic turf at City Green in Sandy Springs. This past weekend we were able to experience it with the citizens of Sandy Springs, and the energy was incredible.

This is exactly why we do what we do. The turf provides a clean, mud-free, and durable space for families to spread out blankets, set up lawn chairs, and let the kids play while enjoying live music right in the heart of the city.

Happy National Park and Recreation Month! 🌳⚽

At ASG, we believe that investing in community parks is investing in the people who live there. We are taking a look back at some of our favorite municipal projects, including Gresham Park, Wade Walker Park, Southern Pines, Garden Lakes, and Terrell Mill.

By upgrading these facilities with premium synthetic turf, we are helping communities eliminate rainouts, reduce maintenance, and give their athletes the professional-grade fields they deserve.

Rainouts are officially a thing of the past at the Southern Pines Recreation Complex in Dublin, GA! 🌧️🚫

A few years after we renovated their 15 outdoor fields, the -laurens county recreation authority brought us back to help build their new indoor training facility.

We partnered with STR to install this incredible multi-sport synthetic turf surface.
Now, local athletes have a premium, climate-controlled space to train year-round.

Big summer in Floyd County!

Advanced Sports Group is currently working on two projects in Rome, Georgia at the same time.
We are replacing the synthetic turf football field at Darlington School, which we originally installed years ago, and converting four full natural grass baseball fields at Floyd County Schools to synthetic turf.

The drone photos from this week show both projects in their early stages. At Darlington, the old turf has been demolished and removed, and our crew is actively reshaping the base in preparation for the new system. At Floyd County Schools, excavation and grading is underway on the first of four fields.

Being invited back to replace a field we built is one of the things we are most proud of in this business. It means the first one held up, and it means the school trusts us to do it right again.

Update from the field: Savannah Country Day School!

Our crews are hard at work renovating the football field for the Hornets. Before we can even think about rolling out the new green turf, we have to build the foundation.

Right now, we are installing the underground drainage system and the crushed stone base. In coastal Georgia, a field has to be able to handle heavy rain. The trench drains and aggregate base we are building today will ensure that this field drains perfectly and stays playable for years to come.
