Machine Operator: Job Description
-Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.
-Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and workpieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
-Stop machines to remove finished workpieces or to change tooling, setup, or workpiece placement, according to required machining sequences.
-Transfer commands from servers to computer numerical control (CNC) modules, using computer network links.
-Check to ensure that workpieces are properly lubricated and cooled during machine operation.
-Set up and operate computer-controlled machines or robots to perform one or more machine functions on metal or plastic workpieces.
-Insert control instructions into machine control units to start operation.
-Review program specifications or blueprints to determine and set machine operations and sequencing, finished workpiece dimensions, or numerical control sequences.
-Listen to machines during operation to detect sounds such as those made by dull cutting tools or excessive vibration and adjust machines to compensate for problems.
-Remove and replace dull cutting tools.
-Assists workers engaged in fabrication of structural or sheet metal products, performing any combination of following tasks: Lifts, positions, and removes workpieces from machines to assist in fitting and welding.
-Holds tape and rods and marks reference points to assist in layout.
Loads, stacks, and transports stock, tools, dies, and work in process by hand or truck.
-Cleans and scrapes metal preparatory to fabricating, welding, painting, or shipping, using scraping tool, abrasive, or placing in solvent bath.
-Picks up and trucks scrap from work areas.
Assembly Technician: Job Description
-Assemble Parts/Pieces using a variety of tools
-Handle sensitive material and equipment
-Ensure all parts fit correctly
-Perform quality test
-Identify issues
-Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
-Ability to maintain equipment
-Maintain compliance and procedures
-Communicate effectively with coworkers.
-Maintain a clean and organized workspace
-Ensure that all tools and equipment are in proper working order
-Proven experience working in construction, automobiles, repair, maintenance and/ or assembly
-Valid driver's license
-Knowledge of engine systems, auto electrical systems, and other automotive systems
-Experience using diagnostic tools, hand tools, pneumatic tools, and fixtures to diagnose and fix issues
-Strong time management skills
-Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality work
-Professional demeanor and appearance
-Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
