Prepare shipping documentation as well as enter data and use inventory system. Monday – Friday, 7am – 3:30pm. Qualifications and experience: bachelor’s or associate degree preferred, proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Procurement/Inventory Coordinator –
Enter plant supply orders and coordinate delivery with suppliers. Monday – Friday, 7am – 3:30pm. Qualifications and Experience: bachelor’s or associate degree preferred, proficient with Microsoft Excel, Experience with inventory management systems and/or procurement.

Last night, at a dinner with our team, we honored Teresa Crays for her dedication contributions to Vesuvius. Terri has been with us since our plant in Wurtland was built over 20 years ago and is a wonderful example of someone who reflects the CORE values of our company. She is not retiring, but we felt it necessary to recognize her work, with her family present to celebrate. Thank you, Terri!

Today we said goodbye and best of luck to Tanner L. H. Willis! Tanner started with us as an intern several years ago and earned a full time position as our shipping coordinator. We will miss him dearly but wish nothing but the best to him and his family. Thank you, Tanner!

The walls are going up! Announced last year, along with 15 new jobs, our brand new storage facility is nearing completion. This project reflects our commitment to our customers in the iron and steel industries throughout North America, as well as Greenup County and the tri state area.

History made! Tonight, our team completed the month of March by setting a new record for monthly production! Pictured is our evening shift crew but our day and midnight teams, as well as maintenance on all three shifts (USW Local 1865) made this huge accomplishment possible. Thank you also to our leadership team and support services around the country and the world.

In addition to the record for production, we also recently celebrated 2 years without a Lost Time Incident (LTI). Excellent safety performance and efficient production enable our plant to be one of the leaders in our industry, worldwide. Thank you to our team in Wurtland!

Join us today by dropping off donations to Kentucky Power to help those affected by the flooding in southeastern Kentucky.

❗ FLOOD RELIEF DRIVE BEGINS TOMORROW ❗

➡️ Donations will be accepted on Monday, 8/1 and Tuesday, 8/2, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the KY Power headquarters at 1645 Wi******er Avenue, Ashland, KY.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:
- Water, cases or gallons
- Cleaning supplies, including: garbage bags, sponges, gloves, bleach, brooms, shovels, paper towels, etc.

➡️ All items will be distributed among Knott, Perry, Letcher, Leslie and Breathitt counties.
