🚿 Rockwall Master Bathroom Remodel Underway! 🛠️

This master bathroom in Rockwall, TX is finally starting to come back together!

We were called in after water damage left our customers without the use of their master bathroom for months. Now, we’re working to rebuild it the right way and get them back into a bathroom they can enjoy again.

One of the most important parts of any shower remodel is what you won’t see once the tile goes up — the waterproofing. We’re using the GURU Waterproofing System throughout the shower, including waterproof building panels, seam and shower seal band, valve sealing, a built-in bench, niche, and a fully waterproofed shower pan.

Tile is beautiful, but tile and grout alone are not waterproof. A properly installed waterproofing system behind them is what helps protect the home for years to come.

Next up ➡️ TILE! We’re excited to see this one start taking its final shape.

If you’ve experienced water damage or you’re ready to finally remodel that outdated bathroom, give Git Er Done Home Remodeling a call!

🚿 Murphy Bathroom Remodel — Tile Going Up!

Another bathroom transformation is taking shape in Murphy, TX! 🔨

Our crew is making great progress on this bathroom and shower remodel. We’ve moved from the original tub/shower surround into a completely redesigned space featuring large-format wall tile, contrasting accent tile, built-in shower niches, and a new tub setup.

There’s a lot that happens behind the finished tile that you’ll never see once the project is complete. Proper waterproofing, layout, leveling, and attention to detail are what make a beautiful bathroom last — and we take pride in doing it right from the start.

Stay tuned for the finished product! 👀

🔨 Plumbing is complete on our Murphy bathroom remodel! 🚿🛁

Another big step forward on this project for our repeat customers in Murphy, TX!

Our licensed plumber has completed the rough-in plumbing for both bathrooms, including setting the new tubs and installing the new tub/shower valves and diverters. With everything positioned and ready to go behind the walls, we can keep moving toward the next phases of the remodel.

There’s a lot that goes into a bathroom renovation before you ever see the finished tile, fixtures, and paint. Getting the plumbing right at this stage is a critical part of building a bathroom that not only looks great, but is built to last.

Next up, we’ll continue closing everything in and getting these bathrooms ready for waterproofing, tile, and all the finishes that will bring the spaces together!

We’re grateful to be back in this home after previously completing their master bathroom — this time tackling their two remaining bathrooms!

🏡 WYLIE MASTER BATHROOM REMODEL — COMPLETE! 🛁✨

What a transformation on this master bathroom in Wylie, TX!

This project started with an outdated bathroom that was also hiding a much bigger problem. During demolition, we uncovered significant moisture damage and mold behind the existing finishes. Once everything was opened up, we were able to address the damaged areas properly before moving forward with the new bathroom.

The finished space is almost unrecognizable! We completely transformed it with a new walk-in shower, frameless glass enclosure, freestanding tub, custom double vanity, additional center storage cabinetry, new countertops, modern black fixtures, updated lighting, large-format shower tile, and beautiful hexagon floor tile throughout.

One of our favorite parts of remodeling is seeing everything come together at the end — especially when we can take a space with hidden problems and turn it into something the homeowners can enjoy for years to come.

At Git Er Done Home Remodeling, we believe the work behind the walls matters just as much as what you see when the project is finished.

🔨 Master Bathroom Remodel Update | Wylie, TX

We’re making great progress on this master bathroom remodel in Wylie! This week, we’ve moved into the drywall, finishing, and painting phase as we get closer to putting the final touches on this transformation.

There’s a lot that goes into getting walls and ceilings ready for paint—especially during a remodel where new construction has to blend seamlessly with the existing home. Our team has been working through the drywall repairs, taping and bedding joints, floating uneven areas, and preparing the surfaces to create a smooth, consistent finish throughout the bathroom.

We’ve also taken the time to carefully mask and protect the new vanity cabinetry, freestanding tub, windows, flooring, doorways, and surrounding areas before spraying and painting. Proper preparation is one of the most important parts of a quality paint job, and protecting the finishes that are already installed is just as important as the painting itself.

Once the drywall work is complete, the walls and ceilings are primed and painted to give the entire bathroom a clean, refreshed appearance and help all of the new finishes come together.

It may not be the most glamorous stage of a remodel, but good drywall and paint preparation makes a huge difference in the finished product. The details underneath the final coat are what help create that crisp, professional look when everything is complete.

We’re getting closer to the finish line on this one, and we can’t wait to show off the completed bathroom!

🚿 Master Bathroom Remodel Update — Wylie, TX! 🛁

Another big step forward on this master bathroom transformation! Today we installed the new freestanding tub, and this space is really starting to come together.

So far, we’ve completed:
🔹 Large-format tile throughout the shower and tub area
🔹 Custom shower niche
🔹 Matte black shower and tub fixtures
🔹 Hexagon floor tile
🔹 New vanity cabinetry
🔹 And now the freestanding soaking tub!

We love the contrast between the light tile, dark flooring, matte black finishes, and the new vanity color. There are still a few finishing touches left—including countertops, glass, trim, paint, and final details—but we’re getting close to the finish line!
