📍 NOW HIRING: Surveyor / Survey Crew Chief

Do you enjoy working outdoors, solving challenges in the field, and seeing projects come to life from the ground up?

McCarthy Engineering Associates is seeking an experienced Surveyor / Survey Crew Chief to support a variety of commercial, residential, industrial, and municipal projects throughout the region.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys field work and wants to play an important role in helping grow our surveying services.

In this role, you'll:
📍 Perform boundary, topographic, route, and ALTA/NSPS surveys
📍 Complete construction staking and layout
📍 Operate Trimble and Leica survey equipment
📍 Maintain accurate field notes and project documentation
📍 Work directly with engineers and project teams
📍 Help build and strengthen our surveying capabilities for the future

We're looking for candidates with:
✔ 3+ years of experience as a Surveyor / Survey Crew Chief
✔ Strong knowledge of surveying practices and construction layout
✔ Experience with Trimble and Leica equipment
✔ Ability to read and interpret construction plans
✔ A valid driver's license
✔ A desire to work in the field and contribute to meaningful projects
