Just kidding!

You may have passed by many a fruit warehouse in the Yakima Valley and seen our doors, not knowing what they are or why they are there.

The cool thing about our doors is that they have a SUPER important job. They hold an airtight seal that keeps controlled-atmosphere rooms at less than 5% oxygen!

The fruit you buy from stores usually comes from these rooms several months after it is picked, and it looks, feels and tastes as fresh as if you had pulled it off the tree that day! This is all thanks to our handcrafted doors.

Our doors are one of the biggest reasons that we are able to have locally grown fresh fruit in our stores and across the country year-round. This is why our doors are made to hold up for 30+ years- we will never build them to fail.

That is a pretty cool purpose, if you ask us!
