🔆 We just completed a 1.9 MW multi-site solar portfolio for San Diego Unified School District, delivering long-term cost stability and sustainability benefits across 12 schools. Individual site installations ranged from ~88 kW to 258 kW and were coordinated across multiple campuses as part of the district’s broader sustainability and infrastructure modernization efforts. ☀️

We had a fantastic time at the PCI Golf Fun Day at Industry Hills Golf Club ⛳️

Thank you to Performance Contracting, Inc. (PCI) for having us out, and hosting such a fantastic event! We enjoyed hosting the Canon Experience hole and connecting with so many industry partners throughout the day.

For those curious, the air cannon launched golf balls over 300 yards, and several players landed shots within 10 feet of the pin. The closest shot of the day came in at an impressive 5 feet, 8 inches. 🏆

"While the research shows that small, rooftop installations are better for the environment, the researchers concluded that a mix of both is needed because there are not enough rooftops to meet electrification needs, if we take into account heating and transportation."

A lifecycle analysis finds that although it’s better for the environment to put solar on a roof, a mix of both is needed.

"Uwe Dahlmeier of DR Dahlmeier Financial Risk Management AG recently forecasted that by 2030, global solar deployments could exceed 14 TW, implying a doubling of capacity approximately every two years...Before dismissing these numbers as outlandish, remember: just one year ago, pv magazine USA editors thought that asking for 400 GW of solar for Christmas was overly ambitious. This Christmas, it’s already a realistic milestone."

"Just take a look at renewable installations around the world in 2023, which were projected to hit a new record of more than 400 gigawatts in total — a 100-gigawatt jump from 2022. The enormous amount of new power capacity is mostly from solar."
