Another system replacement is complete! 🔥❄️

The Riley’s team recently replaced this home’s older gas furnace and AC system with new equipment, carefully integrating it with the existing ductwork.

The difference is easy to see, but the most important part is dependable heating and cooling through every season.

If your system is showing its age, Riley’s can help you determine whether a repair or replacement makes the most sense for your home. 📞 717-798-4354

Your AC turns on. A few minutes later, it shuts off. Then it starts all over again.

Frequent starting and stopping—often called short cycling—can make it harder for the system to cool the house comfortably and may place unnecessary strain on the equipment.

If your system seems to be changing its mind all day, have it checked before the final hot days of summer put it under even more pressure. 📞 717-798-4354

When people think of a leaky faucet, they usually picture a dripping spout. But water can also collect around the base of the faucet or underneath the sink.

If the area around the faucet becomes wet every time you use it—even after wiping away the usual splashes—a seal, connection, or another internal part may need attention.

Your countertop should not need a towel every time someone washes their hands. 📞 717-798-4354

You switch on the shower—but a steady stream of water keeps pouring from the tub spout.

That is not your plumbing trying to offer options. 😂 A worn, damaged, or sticking tub diverter can keep water from being directed fully to the showerhead, leaving you with weaker shower pressure and wasted water.

If your shower and tub are running at the same time, the diverter may be ready for an adjustment or replacement. 📞 717-798-4354

You may not see water dripping, but the cabinet under your sink may notice the problem before you do.

A swollen cabinet bottom, peeling finish, musty smell, or damp cleaning supplies can all point to a slow plumbing leak. Check the area occasionally, especially around the supply lines, drain connections, and faucet connections.

If the moisture returns after you dry everything, it is time to find out where it is coming from. 📞 717-798-4354

You start the dishwasher and later discover water sitting in the kitchen sink. Not exactly the clean ending you expected. 😬

Water backing up during a dishwasher cycle can point to a problem with the shared drain path or connection. If it keeps happening, do not keep running another cycle and hoping it sorts itself out.

You fill the tub, walk away for two minutes, and come back to half the bath you started with. Apparently, the water had somewhere else to be. 😂

A worn, misaligned, or damaged drain stopper can let water escape even when it looks closed. If the tub will not stay full, the stopper or drain assembly may need an adjustment or repair.

Putting citrus peels into your garbage disposal may make the kitchen smell fresher, but it doesn’t necessarily clean the disposal—and too many peels can contribute to a clog.

For everyday care:
✔ Use plenty of cold water
✔ Feed food waste gradually
✔ Avoid grease and fibrous scraps
✔ Never reach inside with your hand

When the disposal keeps smelling, draining slowly, or struggling to run, the problem may need more than a lemon.🍋

If turning on the faucet comes with a whistle, squeal, or high-pitched note, your plumbing has officially started its own concert. 🎶

The sound may be related to a worn internal part, restricted flow, or another issue at the fixture. If the faucet suddenly found its voice—or the noise is getting louder—have it checked before the encore.
