The foundation of our business is our CAD equipped engineering department and our CNC and Wire EDM equipped manufacturing department. In our first quarter century we established ourselves as a quality supplier of window fabrication tooling and special machinery. We were instrumental in setting up 45 window fabricators for one of the largest extrusion suppliers in the United States. From there, we

generated a line of standard product stampings that mainly service the vinyl window manufacturing industry. As we developed highly efficient stamping dies and assembly equipment, we established over 30 standard Adept products and numerous custom stampings for satisfied customers throughout the U.S. Adept Corporation uses its Wire EDM and CNC capabilities to manufacture machine tools, PVC Extrusion Tooling, and equipment. Full Job Description
Adept Corporation has an immediate opening for a Shift Supervisor for the second shift (6 pm-6 am) operation. The Shift Supervisor will have demonstrated experience in a leadership role and will have the ability to oversee all aspects of production, communicate with all department leads to run a smooth shift and have the ability to problem solve in a timely and efficient manner. The Supervisor is expected to mentor and coach the team and ensure employees follow standard procedures for safety and manufacturing quality.

Production Supervisor skills and qualifications

A successful Production Supervisor will have various skills and qualifications, including:

Ability to create and adhere to effective schedules
Strong organizational skills
Ability to stand for long periods on solid surfaces
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
Firm understanding of safety regulations including OSHA
Ability to read a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)
Ability to complete written reports legibly and accurately
Strong leadership skills
A supervisor must have leadership skills to direct employees toward production goals. Written and verbal communication skills are also are necessary for the successful manufacturing supervisor. Equally important, manufacturing supervisors must be familiar with the methods of production used in the department including machinery.

Job Responsibilities

· Monitor the performance of your team members to ensure they are all contributing adequately and working safely.

· Develop protocol to handle emergency situations and other obstacles that may arise throughout your work on the production line and elsewhere in the warehouse.

· Address issues surrounding efficiency and quality control in order to maintain high standards of productivity and avoid any lapses in performance.

· Hold all team members fully accountable for their role in the final product produced, its quality and the efficiency with which it is produced.

· Lead your team in developing effective work habits, efficient skills and high standards for quality.

· Conduct regular audits of productivity and quality to identify any shortcomings and maintain the high standard your team adheres to.

· Ensure that the final product created by your team is made in accordance with the highest level of safety and efficiency and meets standards of quality.

Qualifications

· Excellent management and leadership abilities

· Familiarity with manufacturing equipment

· Prior experience in a warehouse environment

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and superior interpersonal communication skills

Preferred

· Experience supervising or managing in a production environment

Job Description

A material handler maintains production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies to workers on assembly/production lines. Material Handlers operate forklift truck to move raw materials to various locations.

Responsibilities

• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in warehouse work preferred, but not required.
• Lifting to 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand, lift and bend frequently.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to do repetitious work
• Must be able to work at a fast pace
• Ability to work in a team environment

Quality Control Position
NOW HIRING!!!!!!!

We are looking for individuals who have a strong desire to succeed in a fast-growing business. The current position description is for our P.M. shift, Monday through Friday
6 p.m-6 a.m.

 Ensure there is quality testing all the time; carry out inspections to meet the standard set by the organization

 Focus on corrective actions to make sure that products meet required specifications

 Maintain all documentation for the purpose of auditing

 Engage in quality calibrations and internal audits in a professional manner

 Ensure measuring equipment are functioning properly and calling for repairs where equipment is faulty

 Approve finished products for onward shipment of the product

 Work with the management and production managers to ensure that only quality products are produced

 Remove bad products that are discovered during the production process

 Monitor every stage of production to avoid product defects

 Recommend modifications to already existing production standards within the limits of available equipment capacity and capability

Requirements – Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge – for Quality Control Technician Role
 Thorough understanding of methods and processes involved in manufacturing

 Excellent interpersonal and good communication skills which include the ability to teach and explain methodologies

 Well skilled in quality processes and statistical techniques

 Pay attention to details in order not to lose sight of anything, no matter how minute

 Knowledge about measurement and test equipment

 Ability to work well in a team

 Knowledge of relevant legislation and quality control standards

 Ability to interpret instructions whether written, spoken, or in a diagram

 Possess problem-solving skills


Pay Rate –$16.00/ hr. & up based on experience.

- Reading and understanding blueprints & calipers.
- Attention to detail and a desire to work are a must.
- Must have reliable transportation, and ability to work overtime when needed.
