Truck loaders prepare shipments and freight deliveries by carefully loading and securing shipments on tractor trailers for local, regional, and national deliveries. Additionally, truck loaders assist with offloading materials upon delivery.
Organization skills are a must for truck loaders as they are responsible for maintaining the inventory of aluminum and pvc pipe in the yard.
Finally, truck loaders need to maintain records of items, materials, and products that they load and offload. This can include checking shipping manifests during offloading to ensure that all expected materials have arrived as well as preparing detailed loading records that indicate materials and quantities. Truck loaders may need to collect a driver’s signature and submit these records to supervisors.

Kroy Industries is looking for a Shipping Coordinator who is able to organize LTL Freight, Full-Truckload Freight, shipping documents, and other related duties. While prior experience would be beneficial, having good organizational and administrative skills may be sufficient. This person would also be responsible for other administrative assistant duties.
Responsibilities:
Quoting, scheduling, and coordinating shipments.
Updating client status reports on a load-by-load basis by monitoring email, fax, and voicemail.
Vetting and setting up new carrier vendors.
Cultivating relationships with clients, carriers and the company team.
Collaborating with sales department on client shipping updates and issues.
Facilitate any returns, discrepancies, over/short, and damages.
Ensuring carriers are meeting their designated appointment times.
