One of our crews hard at work on a project along N. George St. in York, Pa. The project involves storm water inlets, manholes, storm water piping, concrete curb and sidewalk, and paving. Our crew had multiple obstacles to work around including gas and water laterals, redirecting traffic, and material transport from the staging area multiple blocks away. Nothing our crew couldn’t handle! We love a challenge!

Some pictures of an ongoing project at Calvary Bible Church in Wrightsville, Pa. Our team built the retaining walls, ramp, steps, and sidewalks for this church renovation project. We also completed some grading, foundation waterproofing, stormwater work, and site demolition. In September we’ll pave an entirely new parking lot to finish off the project.

A quality product starts with a solid foundation. Our paving crew started what was supposed to be a simple patch and overlay paving job. The more we dug, the worse it got. We found the stone base a mere 1”-2” thick and a water saturated dirt sub-base. Our team worked with the customer, decided to remove everything and start from scratch. We removed the mud, compacted the sub-base, and placed all new stone base-6” thick. We’ll pave a 2” layer of 25mm Superpave binder course, topped with a 1.5” layer of 9.5mm Superpave wearing course. Quality work doesn’t just happen. In the end, it needs to be right. That’s what sets us apart from the competition.
