Our Front Office Administrative Staff and Shop Office Team keep the day-to-day operation running smoothly — from customer communication and scheduling to paperwork, purchasing, parts, shipping, receiving, and everything in between.

They’re the connection between our customers, our shop, and our team, helping make sure the right information, materials, and support are where they need to be.

Not all chrome jobs are on the outside. 🔧

Chrome plating isn’t limited to exterior surfaces. At Garrod Hydraulics, we also perform inside diameter (ID) chrome applications for components where wear resistance, durability, and surface protection are critical.

This job is a great example of the specialized chrome work we handle in-house — including applications that require precision on the inside diameter.

When it comes to hard chrome, it’s not just about what you can see on the outside.

Big cylinders. Big capabilities. Inside and out.

🦀 Garrod’s 4th Annual Crab Feed 🦀

Yesterday we traded the steel toes for our crab hammers and co****le bags and spent the afternoon celebrating another year of a great Garrod Team!

It’s been a year of professional and personal growth, team building, strategizing, and working hard to continue sending your repairs back with quality craftsmanship and professionalism.

Watching this team grow and adapt has been encouraging and we are excited to see what next year brings!

Shoutout to our first annual co****le champions, Ali and Levi for their championship win!

📦 Parts & Purchasing – Making sure our teams have the right materials, parts, and supplies when they need them.

🛠️ Maintenance – Keeping our equipment, machines, and facility running so our team can keep doing what they do best.

🚛 Shipping & Receiving – Keeping cylinders, parts, materials, and finished jobs moving in and out of Garrod safely and efficiently.

These roles may work behind the scenes, but their impact is felt throughout the entire shop. They help keep our operations running strong from start to finish.

Great work takes a great team — and we’re proud of ours.

We’re kicking off our September Spotlight by recognizing the team that helps get every cylinder’s journey started—and finished right here at Garrod.

Our Assembly/Disassembly team is responsible for carefully breaking down cylinders for inspection and repair, then bringing them back together with precision and attention to detail. Their work sets the foundation for everything that happens throughout the repair process.

From the first teardown to the final assembly, this team makes sure it’s done right.
