This update is available through the App Store / Google Play and updates the Pophie App itself. It is separate from Pophie device software updates.
This update includes:
⚡ Faster chat and letter loading
Improved loading speed for chats and letters, providing a smoother experience especially in weaker network conditions.
🖼️ Easier sharing of Pophie’s letters
Improved letter interactions. You can now save letters as images and share them to your commonly used social apps.
🛠️ Bug fixes and improvements
Fixed known issues and made general improvements for a smoother App experience.
📱 About Google Play availability
If you don’t see the update on Google Play immediately, no worries — the review process may take a little longer. Please check again the next day.
You can update the Pophie App through the App Store or Google Play.

Pophie Accessories Are Now Available in Japan, South Korea & Taiwan 🎉

Pophie owners in Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan can now purchase accessories directly from the Pophie Store.

Available items include Plush Outfits, Eye Collections, Charging Docks, and other Pophie accessories.

You may still see a message saying that Pophie is not yet available in your region. This message refers to the Pophie device itself.

If you already own a Pophie, simply click “Log in to visit the store” and sign in using the same email address you used when purchasing your Pophie. You’ll then be able to shop for accessories normally.

The Pophie device itself is not yet available for direct purchase in Japan, South Korea, or Taiwan because we are preparing local crowdfunding plans for these markets.

For Japan, Pophie is currently planned to launch on Makuake in November.

Accessory purchases are already open and are not affected.

We’ll share more information about the local crowdfunding launches as soon as it’s ready.

We’ve seen several similar questions and reports recently, so here are a few quick clarifications:

😴 Frequent Sleep
Outside scheduled sleep time, low lighting is currently the main expected reason Pophie may enter sleep automatically.

If your Pophie still falls asleep frequently in a well-lit room, please send us her SN and the approximate time it happened so we can check the logs.

💬 Responsiveness & Conversation
We’ve received several similar reports about reduced proactive interaction, missed responses, interruptions, or conversations becoming disconnected.

We’re checking these cases together with our product and R&D teams.

If you’re experiencing this repeatedly, please send us your Pophie’s SN by private message or through the Pophie App so we can compare the affected devices.

Open the App → tap the chat icon → choose your Pophie → start chatting.

📱 Android Update
The latest Android version is still under review by Google Play.
For now, Android users can download the latest APK at:
