Meet the Team: Don!
We’re excited to welcome Don to the Wright’s Renovations crew!
Don brings more than 31 years of construction experience to the team, getting his start in the trades right out of high school. Rather than settling into one specialty early on, he made a point of learning nearly every trade in the field. That experience gave him a depth of knowledge that has shaped the way he approaches every project, with an understanding of how all the pieces of a renovation come together.
In 2007, Don became a licensed residential builder and has since focused primarily on remodeling and high-end custom homes. Custom carpentry is where he really shines, with stairs and decks being two of his specialties. After more than three decades in the industry, he still loves the precision and satisfaction that comes with getting every detail exactly right.
Outside of work, Don stays busy with plenty of hobbies and interests. He’s a pilot who flies both personal and private planes, plays amateur baseball, and is a trained storm spotter for the National Weather Service. He’s also an extra-class ham radio operator, so between flying, baseball, weather spotting, and radio, there’s always something keeping him busy!
Family has always been an important part of Don’s life too. He has three grown daughters, and when they were younger, he served as PTO president at their elementary school. Getting involved in their education and showing up for his community was something he took just as seriously as the work he does on a jobsite.
With decades of experience, a passion for craftsmanship, and a mindset centered around showing up and doing the work, Don is a great addition to the Wright’s Renovations team.
