Yesterday we had the opportunity to participate in the University of Tennessee, Knoxville Construction Science Career Fair. We really enjoyed all the bright young students we met during our time. It was great to learn more about their interests and get to share the passion we have here at Barger. They are our future and it is bright! We hope to welcome some of them soon to the Barger family!

“WHAT IF WE JUST SLOWED DOWN, AND THOUGHT ABOUT HOW OUR ACTIONS CAN AFFECT OTHERS”
Luke 6:31 says “Treat others the way you want them to treat you.” What a better world we’d live in. Like Tyler reminds us, it’s easy to get caught up in life and to forget this verse. But as so many of us are taught, this is the golden rule.

We encourage you to slow down today and remember to treat others kindly. We work on this at Barger everyday. Treating our team, our workers, other trades, our clients the way we hope to be treated.

The steel frame is going up at the TEST Hub and you can really start to see this building take shape. 🏗️ But steel doesn’t stand on its own. Before we could build up, we had to build a strong foundation below.

We’ll be taking a closer look at that work in an upcoming update. 👀

We wanted to bring a little joy to y’alls Monday night. Yesterday the youth at FBC Smithville came by and wrote bible verses on the walls inside the new building. The project we’re a part of is for the kids at FBC Smithville and it is such a blessing to have them take part in it.

We’re thankful for the continued opportunity to bring our faith into the work that we do!
