PATRIOT recently machined this custom fl**ge for an A46 Caterpillar tractor. The part replaced a worn bracket located near the hydraulic system.

Tim, our machinist, made the fl**ge from Grade 50 plate we had on hand. Then we completed the field installation using a 250-degree preheat before fully welding the part into place.

The entire job was completed in less than a week, saving the customer the cost and lead time of replacing the tractor’s entire frame.
