Sacks & Sons, Inc. is looking for an experienced, motivated individual to join our paving division in a leadership role. This position is designed for someone who wants to take ownership in the field and grow into a foreman or project management position.

Responsibilities include:
• Assisting the foreman with daily job planning and crew coordination
• Measuring projects and preparing work layouts
• Reading and interpreting plans, specifications, and project documents
• Establishing paving sequences and marking work areas
• Calculating, ordering, tracking, and documenting asphalt tonnage
• Monitoring quality, grade, joint construction, and overall workmanship
• Coordinating with trucking, plant personnel, inspectors, and project managers
• Identifying and solving field challenges to keep projects on schedule
• Promoting a safe, organized, and productive jobsite
• Maintaining daily production records and supporting project documentation
• Leading by example and helping develop a high-performing paving crew

We’re looking for someone with paving and construction experience, strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. Experience reading construction plans and managing field operations is preferred.

A loss felt deeply across our team.

Thank you for your care and concern regarding the recent incident on Route 30 near Coatesville, PA.

Two of our Allan Myers family tragically lost their lives when a tractor-trailer entered our work zone, striking multiple vehicles. Two additional colleagues were transported to a local hospital and released.

An investigation is ongoing. Our focus remains on supporting those impacted.
