Grünelabs welcomed representatives from Brazil’s National Health Surveillance Agency, ANVISA, as part of an institutional agenda focused on the development and regulation of medicinal cannabis in the region. 🇺🇾🤝🇧🇷
During the visit, the delegation learned more about Grünelabs’ activities in pharmaceutical research and development, quality control and the production of phytopharmaceutical solutions derived from medicinal cannabis.
The meeting also created an important opportunity to exchange knowledge on regulatory standards, scientific innovation, production processes and the challenges involved in expanding access to safe, reliable and high-quality medicinal cannabis products.
The initiative reinforces the importance of cooperation between regulatory authorities, public institutions, scientific organizations and the pharmaceutical industry to support the responsible growth of the sector in Latin America.
