Limetree Bay Terminals, in conjunction with the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Public Works, was pleased to provide a face-lift to the two bus stops located at the Paradise stoplight in Frederiksted. Limetree Bay Terminals' employees volunteered their time to cut grass, trim back trees, pick up trash and debris from the area, and pressure wash and paint the bus stops in honor of Earth Day.

Water distribution at the Frederiksted site adjacent to the Midre Cummings park, has been suspended for Saturday. Water distribution will be available at the Limetree site at 10:00 a.m. today. Normal hours of operation for both the Frederiksted and Limetree sites will resume Monday, April 4, 2022.

In recognition of Virgin Islands History month, Limetree Bay Terminals' employee engagement team were pleased to donate and deliver more than 400 V.I. History coloring books to fourth graders at St. Croix's public elementary schools. The books were created by local artist, Christa-Ann Davis-Molloy, and display beautiful hand-drawn designs that depict the history and culture of the V.I. with accompanying details.

Limetree Bay Terminals Safety and Technology meets Agriculture

Limetree Bay Terminals was pleased to participate in the Eulalie Rivera K-8 School's National Agriculture Week Open House activities. Our team spoke with dozens of students ranging in ages from four to 13, about ensuring safety in everything they do, whether its farming or working in the classroom. The team had various personal safety equipment on display, and demonstrated how to don Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The team also talked about how drone technology assists with agriculture, while exhibiting the drone's capabilities.

A dedicated team from Limetree Bay Terminals participated in the St. Croix Career & Technical Education Center's (CTEC) 22nd Annual Career Fair on March 24, 2022. They spoke on a range of topics from the mechanical trades of welding, millwright, and electricity to interviewing skills and other tips for success post high school and when entering the workplace.

In early 2016, a joint venture between affiliates of ArcLight and Freepoint Commodities purchased the Limetree energy complex – previously owned and operated by HOVENSA, a joint venture between Hess Corporation and PDVSA. Limetree Bay Terminal made significant improvements to the storage infrastructure, with the first customer product shipments received in March 2016.In November 2018, Limetree Bay Refining, LLC announced it had entered into definitive agreements with BP’s supply and trading arm for tolling, supply, and product offtake of the refinery in late 2019. BP will supply the refinery with feedstocks and market a significant portion of the product offtake volumes, including low-sulfur fuels that will meet International Maritime Organization (“IMO”) mandates in 2020.
