𝐕𝐀𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐀 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄
"Joyful Travel arranged for our family of four (two adults, two teenagers) an incredible 14-day experience in Viet Nam. We had never travelled to Viet Nam, so we had many concerns, ranging from visas to transportation, etc. Our trip was from the US to Hanoi, Hanoi to Ha Long Bay, Halong Bay to a flight to Da Nang/ Hoi An, and then another flight from Da Nang to Sai Gon. Every aspect of the transportation and pick-up and flight arrangements was flawless—it felt miraculous that we made every flight, boat, barge, cyclo, tuktuk, and scooter (hahaha). Jenny took care of it all!
We had various tour guides in every city, and they were amazing, each one with their own charm and areas of interest. Every guide was so accommodating and kind—there were times when one of our teenagers opted to stay in the air conditioned van instead of going to see a pagoda or temple or whatever, and it was totally fine. The occasional perils of travelling with teenaged girls...
Leading up to the trip, we told Jenny about our interests and must-sees, and she thoughtfully crafted an itinerary for us that reflected our various interests. We emailed with her many months in advance, so we had a lot of time to research and adjust the travel itinerary, which Jenny did happily.
Jenny was an excellent communicator and always very quick and prompt, especially when we were in country and texting her (via What's App). She answered any questions we had very quickly. The hotels that she booked for us (we chose the five star package) were amazing.
We went in the summer (2026) , and it was HOT and HUMID, but that's Viet Nam. Do your research about what to expect, but the trade-off is that it's the "slow" season for tourism, so the lines and crowds are not as intense as in the high season when the weather is cooler. We wouldn't have changed a thing!
Special shout-out to the scooter tour girls in Sai Gon, the highlight of the trip for me personally. They were incredible driving our family around on four separate scooters expertly! It was thrilling AND delicious!
We cannot recommend Joyful Travel enough and would give Jenny and her company all the stars. I'm already thinking about how to get back to Viet Nam, and I haven't been home two weeks yet"
