Back in May, we took the stage at Techmart in Ho Chi Minh City. It was a great chance to connect with partners, officials, and communities, and to help more people see that waste doesn't have to be something we bury or burn. It can be a resource.

If you couldn't join us in person, the full presentation below explains how The ARC Process turns unsorted municipal waste into four commercial products: organic fertiliser, insect protein, synthetic coal, and bio-oil.

No presorting required. No landfilling. No incineration. No harmful emissions.

Since Techmart, we've kept that momentum going, making real progress and building new relationships across Vietnam as more people come to see waste as a resource in the wrong place.

♻️ ARC-V in Phú Thọ

Last week, we visited Phú Thọ to examine existing waste sites and the waste problem outside the big cities.

Here's what we keep seeing: the investment and technology chase large urban centres while smaller towns and rural areas are being left behind due to their size. Other clean waste technologies cannot serve areas of this size, generating less than 100 tons/day of waste, so they are simply left alone.

These are the "forgotten" areas, and they matter just as much.

That's where ARC-V steps in. The ARC Process can be built at any scale due to its modular nature. It works for a major city, and it works just as well for a rural area, too small for other technology and investment. No community is too small to deserve clean surroundings, cleaner air, and land that isn't buried under waste.🚛

We came to Phú Thọ to better understand these communities and to show that a clean environment shouldn't depend on your geographic location.

The forgotten places deserve solutions, too. We intend to bring them.

We are happy to announce that ARC-V has been selected for the ClimateLaunchPad 2026 Vietnam Cohort, one of the world's largest programs for green business and startups.🎉

Last week, ARC-V participated in the program's bootcamp alongside climate founders from across the region.

We came in with a simple conviction: Vietnam's waste isn't a disposal problem, it's an untapped resource. The ARC Process is the first of its kind to convert unsorted waste into four commercial products, with no presorting required and no harmful emissions from the process.

Over the course of three days of intensive sessions, we refined our pitching, go-to-market strategy, business model, and financials. We left with a clearer view of the road ahead, and we're more energized than ever!

Từ ngày 17/06 đến ngày 19/06/2026, trong khuôn khổ ClimateLaunchpad Việt Nam 2026, Boot Camp B được tổ chức trực tuyến thành công tốt đẹp, với sự tham gia tích cực của 13 đội thi đến từ hai miền Bắc và Trung (Hà Nội, Nghệ An, Quảng Trị, Nha Trang, Lâm Đồng). Sự kiện này chính thức khép lại chương trình đào tạo tập trung, hoàn thành lộ trình trang bị nền tảng và công cụ khởi nghiệp công nghệ xanh cho toàn bộ các đội thi của mùa giải năm nay.

Chuỗi ngày đào tạo được dẫn dắt với chuyên gia quốc tế Ron Bloemers với sự đồng hành của các cố vấn quốc gia. Bên cạnh đó, sự kiện cũng nhận được sự tham gia từ Hanns Seidel Foundation Vietnam, đơn vị đồng tổ chức ClimateLaunchpad Việt Nam và Trung tâm Nghiên cứu, Tư vấn sáng tạo và Phát triển bền vững (CCS), đơn vị tổ chức chính cuộc thi tại Việt Nam.

Trong suốt ba ngày làm việc, các đội thi đã trải qua chuỗi bài học chuyên sâu nhằm hoàn thiện ý tưởng, mô hình kinh doanh của mình. Thông qua bài giảng, các đội thi đã có những câu hỏi, những trao đổi với chuyên gia quốc tế và các cố vấn quốc gia.

⭐ OFFICIAL CLOSING OF THE 2026 BOOT CAMP TRAINING IN VIETNAM: INSPIRING AND EQUIPPING TEAMS WITH CORE FOUNDATIONS AT BOOT CAMP B 🎉

From June 17 to June 19, 2026, as part of ClimateLaunchpad Vietnam 2026, Boot Camp B was successfully held online, with the active participation of 13 competing teams from the Northern and Central regions (Hanoi, Nghe An, Quang Tri, Nha Trang, and Lam D**g). This event officially concludes the intensive training program, successfully completing the roadmap to equip all competing teams of this year's season with core foundations and green technology startup tools.

The training series was led by international expert Ron Bloemers, alongside national mentors. Additionally, the event welcomed the participation of Hanns Seidel Foundation Vietnam (representing the co-organizer of ClimateLaunchpad Vietnam), and Mr. Nguyen Hong Long, Director of the Center for Creativity and Sustainability Study and Consultancy (CCS) (representing the team supporting and the main organizer of the competition in Vietnam).

Throughout the three-day program, the teams underwent a series of intensive sessions to refine their business ideas and models. Through the lectures, the teams engaged in insightful Q&A sessions and discussions with both the international expert and national mentors. ClimateLaunchpad Vietnam believes that the teams have gained valuable knowledge to nurture and realize their green business ideas aimed at combating climate change.

CCS and ClimateLaunchpad Vietnam would like to express our sincere gratitude to Hanns Seidel Foundation Vietnam, as well as the experts and national mentors, for their invaluable support in making Boot Camp B a great success. Today, ARC-V was on national television.

A year ago, explaining what we do meant starting from scratch every time. Most people in Vietnam have never been told there's an alternative to the landfill and the incinerator. Today, VTV9 put it in front of a national audience.

Here's what we showed. Vietnam produces more than 75,000 tonnes of municipal waste a day, and most of it is landfilled or burned. Landfills trade today's problem for tomorrow's. Incineration trades waste for emissions. Neither is circular.

So we built a process that is. Black soldier fly larvae break down the organic waste in 3 to 5 days. What's left is pyrolysed into SynCoal, a solid fuel that replaces coal. The full process recovers four products from mixed waste, with no source separation required: SynCoal, Arc Protein, Arc Soil, and Bio-Oil.

We're still early. The first Vietnamese facility is what comes next, not what's behind us. But national television means the question is no longer "is this possible." It's "where do we build first."
