WORLD STEEL GROUP AT THE VIETNAM - KOREA ECONOMIC FORUM 2026
On April 23, 2026, in Hanoi, World Steel Group was honored to participate in a series of activities within the Vietnam – Korea Business Forum 2026 under the theme “Enhancing Industrial Partnership, Investment, and Science & Technology.”
Prior to the main forum, World Steel Group joined the Vietnam – Korea Business Exhibition, which gathered leading corporations and enterprises from both countries across industries such as construction, manufacturing, technology, and industrial production.
At the exhibition, WSG showcased its EPC capabilities, highlighted signature steel structure projects, and introduced modern industrial construction solutions to international partners—especially Korean companies seeking investment and collaboration opportunities in Vietnam.
This served as a valuable platform for World Steel Group to strengthen connections, engage directly with potential partners, and further affirm the position and credibility of Vietnamese enterprises within the global value chain.
The main forum was co-chaired by Prime Minister Le Minh Hung and President Lee Jae Myung, with the participation of over 500 delegates from both nations—including government leaders and top corporations across key sectors such as energy, technology, infrastructure, finance, and manufacturing.

🔩 EXPANDING INTO THE GLOBAL VALUE CHAIN
At the forum, leaders of both countries agreed to promote cooperation across three strategic pillars: High-tech Industry – Sustainable Investment – Science & Innovation.
A total of 73 Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) were signed, covering a wide range of sectors from mechanical engineering, manufacturing, construction, and infrastructure to semiconductors, AI, and clean energy.
As a leading EPC contractor in steel structures and industrial construction in Vietnam, World Steel Group recognizes this as a breakthrough moment—where Vietnam’s manufacturing strengths combined with Korea’s advanced technology create unmatched synergy.
