[MISSION BRIEFING: BLIZZARD BASTION SAM LABS CHALLENGE]

It’s time to hold the line! We are officially introducing the Blizzard Bastion Mission, a specialized robotics and programming challenge for students aged 6 to 10.

Within the Acoustic Tectonics universe, teams will work exclusively with SAM Labs wireless blocks to engineer a bastion capable of withstanding the Vibe Shock.

🔧 THE CHALLENGE: Focus on torque, structural integrity, and logic. This mission tests how young engineers can use SAM Labs to create a reactive, immovable defense.

Is your team ready for high-velocity robotics? We are introducing the Sonic Strider Relay Mission, specifically designed for students aged 9 to 18.

Under the theme of Acoustic Tectonics, teams will work exclusively with the LEGO Education platform to build robots that can navigate complex frequencies with speed and accuracy.

🔧 THE CHALLENGE: Master the "Vibe Shock" by programming for agility and rapid response. This is a relay of logic, engineering, and teamwork powered by LEGO Education technology.

OFFICIAL REVEAL: APRA INTERNATIONAL FINAL 2026 THEME

We are excited to announce the theme for this year's international robotics and programming finale: VIBE SHOCK : ABSOLUTE.

This year, student teams will navigate the world of Acoustic Tectonics, using LEGO Education and SAM Labs to build and program robots capable of mastering the elements of sound and frost.

THE ENGINEERING CHALLENGE: > Will your team focus on the high-speed agility of the Sonic Strider or the impenetrable structural defense of the Blizzard Bastion?

APRA 2025 Judge Training @ RMIT Vietnam
On 23–24 October, RMIT University students from the School of Science, Engineering and Technology (SSET) came together for the APRA 2025 Judge Training. These future engineers, passionate about robotics and innovation, will serve as official judges at the upcoming APRA International Final.
Through this collaboration, APRA hopes to connect and inspire young contestants by bridging them with university mentors who share the same passion for science, technology, and creativity.
