🇻🇳 Vimatec vinh dự đón tiếp đoàn doanh nghiệp trong ngành hàng hải và đóng tàu Đức đến thăm và làm việc tại Việt Nam sau Hội nghị Công nghiệp Đóng tàu và Hàng hải Việt Nam – CHLB Đức.

Chuyến thăm là dịp để giới thiệu năng lực thiết kế tàu và kỹ thuật hàng hải của Vimatec, đồng thời trao đổi về các xu hướng phát triển của ngành và cơ hội hợp tác giữa doanh nghiệp Việt Nam và Đức.

🇬🇧 Vimatec was honored to welcome a delegation of leading German maritime and shipbuilding companies to Vietnam following the Vietnam–Germany Shipbuilding & Maritime Industry Conference.

The visit provided an opportunity to showcase Vimatec’s capabilities in ship design and marine engineering, exchange perspectives on industry developments, and explore future cooperation opportunities between Vietnamese and German companies.

We believe that open dialogue and strong engineering capabilities are the foundation of long-term partnerships and sustainable value creation for the maritime industry.

Ngành hàng hải và đóng tàu đang phát triển mạnh mẽ, kéo theo yêu cầu ngày càng cao về năng lực kỹ thuật, quản lý và vận hành tàu. Việc hiểu tổng thể thiết kế, đóng mới, sửa chữa, khai thác và các yếu tố kinh tế – kỹ thuật của tàu thủy vì vậy ngày càng trở nên cần thiết đối với chủ tàu, đơn vị đóng mới/sửa chữa tàu, đơn vị vận hành và đội ngũ kỹ thuật.

Từ nhu cầu thực tiễn đó, Vimatec Engineering tổ chức khóa học:

⚓ TỔNG QUAN KỸ THUẬT TÀU THỦY (NAVAL ARCHITECTURE)

Khóa học giúp học viên tiếp cận tổng quan về:

• Thiết kế, đóng mới, sửa chữa và khai thác tàu thủy
• Các nguyên lý kỹ thuật nền tảng: thủy tĩnh – ổn định – kết cấu – động lực tàu
• Các thông số thiết kế và bài toán kinh tế trong đóng tàu

• Cán bộ kỹ thuật nhà máy đóng mới/sửa chữa tàu thủy

Sau hành trình kết nối đầy ý nghĩa tại Thủ đô Oslo, Nauy 2025, Vimatec rất vui được chào đón Bà Giám đốc điều hành Nor-Shipping Ms. Sidsel Norvik, giám đốc phát triển kinh doanh Mr. Odin Aadland cùng Tham tán Thương mại từ Đại sứ quán Na Uy đến thăm và làm việc cùng team ⚓

Buổi gặp gỡ diễn ra trong không khí cởi mở và thân tình, là cơ hội để các bên cùng trao đổi sâu hơn về xu hướng phát triển của ngành hàng hải, kết nối thêm những ý tưởng mới và chia sẻ về các cơ hội hợp tác trong lĩnh vực thiết kế tàu, kỹ thuật hàng hải cũng như các giải pháp công nghệ cho ngành công nghiệp biển.

Vimatec was pleased to host representatives from NAPA for a technical meeting and professional exchange today.

The visit was led by Mr. Thomas YIP, Area Director VP Singapore, together with Mr. Aqmil Alway, Senior Technical Consultant, who presented recent developments and new functionalities within the NAPA software platform.

The discussion offered a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives on digital solutions and future developments in ship design and maritime engineering.

🚢 SHIPYARD LEARNING EXPERIENCE IN HO CHI MINH CITY

Our interns recently had the opportunity to visit a shipyard in Ho Chi Minh City, gaining direct exposure to real shipbuilding operations.

During the visit, student observed different stages of the production process, including steel and aluminum fabrication, CNC cutting, plate forming, hull section assembly, piping systems and composite manufacturing application installation were introduced in a practical working environment.

This experience helps connect classroom knowledge with real engineering practice, especially in understanding how design decisions are translated into production outcomes.

At Vimatec, we aim to create meaningful learning opportunities where interns can experience how ship design and construction are executed in real shipyard conditions.

The group included interns from universities in Singapore and Canada, sharing a collaborative learning experience in a real-world engineering environment.

Bridging design and production is essential to developing the next generation of marine engineers.

🚢 MAPPING VIETNAM’S SHIPBUILDING ECOSYSTEM

Vietnam’s shipbuilding industry is characterized by a highly distributed structure, with capabilities spread across multiple shipyards, engineering organizations, and supporting service providers.

To improve visibility and connectivity within this ecosystem, Vimatec has been collaborating with VISIA (Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Association) and Maps & Globe Singapore over the past years to develop a structured shipyard mapping initiative.

🧭 Why ecosystem mapping matters

In a fragmented industry structure, understanding “who does what” plays an important role in improving coordination and collaboration.

A structured shipyard map can help to:

• Provide clearer visibility of shipyard capabilities across Vietnam
• Support better alignment between design, engineering, and construction stakeholders
• Enable more informed decision-making for international partners
• Strengthen integration within the maritime supply chain

🌍 Industry relevance

This initiative has been introduced at major maritime exhibitions such as Marintec China, APM Singapore, and Vietship Vietnam, contributing to a broader awareness of Vietnam’s shipbuilding capacity in both regional and global contexts.

A more connected ecosystem starts with clearer and more structured visibility.
