Nice house around us no. 1: European apartment of Saigon owner
The 220-square-meter paved apartment for two people in District 2 has been basically completed, but the structure has been changed to make it airy and wider.
Homeowners love to travel to Europe, so they want the apartment to have a neoclassical style, inspired by the houses of European aristocrats in the 18th - 19th centuries.
As a characteristic of the neoclassical style, the walls in the apartment are run around. The U-shaped staircase was previously replaced by a spiral staircase, both reducing the entrance to the floor and creating a highlight for the space. The spiral staircase is also a common detail in European architecture. The curved bevelled walls soften the space of the apartment.
Neoclassical works often use gentle colors. To create a way and more suitable for young homeowners, architects use white - gray tones, on which are dotted with dark blue items. As a result, the apartment is more lively and eye-catching.
Instead of elaborate carved furniture that easily brings a heavy feeling, the furniture mainly has simple lines. Neoclassical spirit is shown on small decor items such as statues, candlesticks, paintings; Architectural details such as balustrades, kitchen cabinets and stone materials on tables.
Downstairs, the living room, kitchen and dining table are connected. The floor space of stone tiles forms a decorative array in the common living space.
To increase the vitality of the apartment, the entrance from the main gate is arranged with a garden with ferns, hanging branches of primeval forests above. The balcony has a garden with red rose buds.
The apartment is located in the west, not affected by neighboring buildings, so the design team arranged a glass panel system to blur the boundary between the inside and the balcony, creating a wide viewing angle and bringing natural light into the air. space. Above all, the homeowner can admire the brilliant sunset at the end of the day. The combination of two similarly colored floors, gray-grain wood and translucent rattan, also contributes to a sense of continuity between the interior and the exterior.
The total cost of completing the project is about VND 2.4 billion.
