National Breeding Center for Southern Freshwater Aquaculture Aquaculture and breeding center for Fresh water fish of Vietnam. A branch of Research institute for aquaculture No2 , Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam.

Background:
1979: Established as an experimental station
1980: Re-allocated under Ministry of Fisheries (MoFi)
1988: Upgraded to ‘Research Centre for Aquaculture in the Mekong Delta’
2003: Upgraded to ‘National Breeding Centre for Southern Freshwater Aquaculture’
