What goes into making a coffee roaster?

Recently, Mars Roasters had the absolute pleasure of welcoming a group of students from Huong Nghiep A Au for an exclusive factory tour!

This wasn't just a basic walkthrough. The students got a real, behind-the-scenes look at how an industrial roasting system is built from scratch and saw firsthand how modern technology is reshaping the coffee industry.

From precision machining and assembly to advanced control integration and final testing, every single step shows the serious engineering and craftsmanship we pour into our machines.

During the tour, the group also got an inside look at Mars V5, our smart control platform.

We truly believe that to craft a perfect roast, you don't just need to understand the coffee beans, but understand the machine behind them.

Good things take time!

In large-scale coffee roasting production, the challenge is not in operating each individual machine, but in the ability to control the entire process chain in a stable and continuous manner.

At the recent Coffee Show, Mars Roaster introduced an integrated roasting system model, designed as a closed loop operation from green bean input to final finished products.

The solution includes the Mars V5 AI roaster with a capacity of 6kg per batch, a green bean silo storage system, an automatic dosing scale, a destoner unit, and a finished product storage silo.

In parallel with automated operation, all production data is recorded and centrally managed through an IoT platform, enabling real-time remote monitoring and tracking.

When each stage of the production line is designed as a unified operational structure, maintaining stability and control at large-scale production becomes more efficient.

A customer from Germany - home to some of the highest technical standards in coffee roasting traveled directly to Vietnam to evaluate Mars Roaster.

Instead of relying on commercial introductions, they chose to observe the system in a real production environment with continuous daily roasting operations.

In industrial equipment investment, real value is defined by long-term stability and consistency in performance.
