Më 29 prill 2025, në praninë e Ministrit të Mjedisit, Planifikimit Hapësinor dhe Infrastrukturës, Kryetarit të Komunës së Podujevës dhe ekipeve të tyre, u prezantua Raporti Fillestar për Projektin Kryesor të Ndërtimit të Digës në Pollatë–Podujevë, përfshirë linjën e transmisionit të ujit dhe impiantin për trajtimin e ujit të pijshëm.
Projekti është tenderuar nga Ministria e Mjedisit, Planifikimit Hapësinor dhe Infrastrukturës e Republikës së Kosovës, në bashkëpunim me partnerët tanë të nderuar ES PROJE Design Engineering Consultancy Ltd. Co., dhe CEMA Engineering and Project Inc.
Gjatë prezantimit u shqyrtuan tri alternativa për vendosjen e digës, ku Aksi A u vlerësua si më i përshtatshmi, duke ofruar potencialin më të lartë për grumbullimin e ujit.
Ky projekt synon të sigurojë furnizim të qëndrueshëm me ujë të pijshëm për Podujevën dhe vendbanimet përreth deri së paku në vitin 2065.

On April 29, 2025, in the presence of the Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, the Mayor of Podujevë, and their teams, we presented the Initial Report for the Main Project for the Construction of the Pollatë–Podujevë Dam, including the Water Transmission Line and Water Treatment Plant. The project is tendered by the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure of the Republic of Kosovo, in collaboration with our esteemed partners ES PROJE Design Engineering Consultancy Ltd. Co., and CEMA Engineering and Project Inc.
During the presentation, three potential dam axis locations were reviewed, with Axis A identified as the most suitable, offering the highest water storage potential.
This project aims to ensure long-term access to safe drinking water for Podujevë and surrounding settlements until at least 2065.
