🚁 BVLOS Update: VOTIX + uAvionix Integration
Big news for the drone world → VOTIX has added uAvionix’s FlightLine ADS-B service into its platform.
What does this mean?
✅ Real-time air traffic awareness (validated ADS-B data from 978 + 1090 MHz)
✅ Detect-and-Avoid (DAA) like the FAA uses in its own facilities
✅ Huge boost for Drone as First Responder (DFR) & Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) missions
💡 Quick Examples
DFR: Police launch drones to a 911 call. With ADS-B, drones avoid helicopters while streaming live video to officers 🚓.
AAM: Medical drones + future air taxis safely share low-altitude airspace 🚁.
⚡ Why it matters:
The FAA’s Part 108 BVLOS NPRM is coming. Reliable ADS-B data is the safety backbone for making BVLOS routine.

🚁 Want to Fly Drones Commercially? Read This FIRST!

If you’re a drone pilot (or dreaming of becoming one), you need to know about Part 107 — the FAA’s certification that makes flying legally (and getting paid) possible.
