Every pack of noodles, every bag of feed, every bottle on the shelf starts in a factory that runs hardest when the sun is up.
On October 23, 2026, 𝗖𝗠𝗘 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗶-𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗻𝗮𝗺 officially signed an agreement to develop a 𝟲,𝟲𝟬𝟭 𝗸𝗪𝗽 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 across Uni-President Vietnam’s manufacturing facilities, marking another step forward in integrating renewable energy into industrial operations.
For businesses in the food and animal feed industries, energy is more than an operating expense. It directly influences production efficiency and the carbon footprint of operations, particularly as environmental standards and sustainability expectations continue to rise.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐨𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬:
✅ Generate approximately 8,656 MWh of clean electricity annually for on-site consumption.
✅ A lower, more predictable energy cost, with no upfront capital from Uni-President
✅ Reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 5,355.5 tonnes annually, contributing to greener manufacturing and long-term sustainability.
At CME Solar, our role extends beyond investing in and developing rooftop solar systems. We also operate each system throughout the contract term, focusing on long-term performance and sustainable value for our partners.
We sincerely thank Uni-President Vietnam for its trust and partnership. We look forward to turning solar potential into tangible benefits for manufacturing operations today and in the years ahead.
