Chroma Color’s Biggest Loser Contest continues to make a positive impact across all of our facilities! Since launching the program in 2021, more than 420 team members have participated, collectively losing 2,568 lbs over the past five years.

Our most recent 2026 contest included:
• 41 participants
• 435.8 total pounds lost
• 10.63 pounds average lost per person

Additionally, the program offers weekly challenges including walking contests, hydration goals, and healthy recipe sharing.

Congratulations to the Plastics News Rising Stars of 2026

Plastics News has named its Rising Stars of 2026, recognizing 30 industry professionals age 35 and under who are making a meaningful impact and demonstrating strong leadership potential—or who are already leading the way. This year’s class represents a broad spectrum of the plastics industry, from scientists and engineers to founders and executives.

Chroma Color is proud to announce that Zach Zander has been selected as one of the Plastics News Rising Stars of 2026.

Zander joined Chroma Color Corp. in 2024, stepping into one of the most technically demanding segments of the plastics industry: color concentrates.

“Zander is already delivering impact at a level far beyond what is typical for someone early in their career, while also showing the curiosity, discipline and leadership traits that signal long‑term potential,” said Jim Walsh, vice president of technology at Chroma Color, Zander’s boss and mentor.

Zander holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from St. Norbert College in Wisconsin and a doctorate in polymer science from the University of Akron in Ohio.

Chroma Color is pleased to announce William (Bill) Wallace has joined the company as the EHS Director. Bill will be responsible for leading the EHS function for the company and will also work as the site EH&S lead in Lambertville, NJ. Prior to Chroma Color, Bill was EHS and Quality Manager at Mill Road Dairy (NJ) where he was involved in quality programs for food production such as HAACP, SQF as well as all safety and environmental programs. Bill also has experience in plastics working for Borealis Compounds in New Jersey as HSE and Quality assurance manager. This experience is valuable to Chroma Color as Borealis compounds and reacts products for our industry using equipment very similar to those found in our Chroma Color plants. Other work experience has involved environmental engineering and biotechnology. Bill has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and accreditations including OSHA, PCQI Food Safety, Certified Instructional Trainer(CIT) and is a Certified Professional Environmental Auditor.
