The Coastal Area will hold their annual Oyster Roast and February monthly meeting on February 23, 2023 at 6:30 pm. The oyster roast is sponsored by Blanchard Machinery and it will be held at the James Island Yacht Club. The cost is $45 per person or $50 at the door. In addition to local oysters, hot chowder and hotdogs with all the trimmings will be served. If you plan on attending, please bring a door prize for the raffle at the end of the evening. If you wish to attend, please email [email protected]. This event is for our members and their significant other/spouse. We have limited availability to 150 people. Deadline to register is Wednesday, February 15, 2023.

The Coastal area held their monthly meeting on January 24, 2023 at Atlantic Coast Electric Supply and was catered by This Little Pig. The meeting was very well attended as the guests listened to Paul Ogorek, EV Dunbar Company, speak on "Energy & Refrigerant Changes - How It's Impacting Our Industry." Good information was shared with the attendees.

The Piedmont area monthly meeting was held on January 17, 2023 at Yandle-Witherspoon Supply, Inc. The dinner consisted of lasagna, salad, and bread. The guest speaker was William "Bill" Bartlett, P.E., W.G. Bartlett Engineering Services and he spoke on "The Adopted SC Mechanical Codes & Current Updates" which proved to be very valuable information for the members.

Midlands Area meeting at Ferguson Enterprises, Columbia, SC with the dinner catered by Little Pig. Robert Zeigler, NCCER Craft Instructor at Midlands Technical College spoke to the group regarding communicating with and recruiting today's youth. Very informative presentation!
