The Little British Robot Company is a British business manufacturing and supplying robotic and mechanical construction kits. Our new MEKIT range is designed to be fully compatible with Lego Technic and Lego MindStorms, but giving the strength and durability of milled aluminium; coupled with Arduino mounted on our board holders or Lego MindStorms controllers, we have an incredibly flexible learning

and development platform. All of the parts and components are made here in the UK and are designed to last a lifetime (even surviving busy classroom environments). If you build with Lego Technics, Lego Mindstorms or NXT and are looking for a strong and light aluminium structure to base from or add to, our MEKIT and Makeblock parts are fully pitch compatible; take a Lego Technic beam or Technic controller and it will fit pitch-perfect onto ours giving you some amazing design and build capabilities. We are the first UK distributor for Makeblock, which is a great quality Chinese manufactured construction kit , similar in design to MEKIT although using a lighter extruded aluminium beam rather than the MEKIT type of CNC milled beam, and is a fantastic development platform. We supply the complete range of Makeblock parts and kits alongside our own, giving customers a fantastic choice of fully compatible parts.
