This project arose due to noise impacts affecting residences located 2 km from the plant. An analysis was carried out on the turbine equipment, including their air exhaust and intake ducts. The greatest impacts were generated by the exhaust points on the roof, which recorded levels above 105 dBA.

In addition, the relevant acoustic validations and calculations were performed, leading to the recommendation of silencers for each exhaust point. This allowed the noise to be reduced to 78 dBA, making it imperceptible at the affected residences.

The services provided were:
◾Unattended noise monitoring for 1 week
◾Attended measurements at different points, considering both the noise source and the affected areas
◾Calibrated predictions through 3D acoustic simulation
◾Definition of noise-sensitive receptors
◾Compliance measurements

En este proyecto fue particularmente ambicioso, ya que contaba con un salón multiuso en el cual por la naturaleza de la amplitud del espacio la reverberación era relativamente alta. Este espacio se utiliza para reuniones de equipo y eventos con música en vivo. Al tener usos tan variados, el control de reverberación se debe tratar de forma minuciosa para asegurar un confort óptimo para cada uso. Para esto, se contrataron los siguientes servicios:
◾Separaciones acústicas entre recintos
◾Control de reverberación en oficinas, salas de reuniones y oficina de plan abierto
◾Acústica especializada en área multiuso
◾Control de ruido y vibración HVAC
