As of December 2017, NEW GEYSER REQUIREMENTS:
For safety and performance reasons the regulations require that ALL installations, repairs and replacements of geysers, solar water heating and heat-pumps must conform respectively to the SANS Regulations. When such work is completed a PIRB certificate of compliance must be issued by the PIRB Licensed Plumber to certify it's compliance. See respective manufacturer's document for further details or visit www.pirb.co.za.
Let's work together in ensuring Licensed plumbers complete the work for you and in getting rid of the everyday bakkie plumbers who are not qualified to do the job.
